EmpowerEmploys anticipates opening a new office in the City of St. Louis in 2022.   We work with “disadvantaged” individuals, including the homeless and felons returning from prison in finding jobs and conducting specialized skills training.    We have found the best way to reduce both homelessness and criminal recidivism (those who will return to prison) is a solid “living wage” job.  This helps the “justice involved” population become self-sustaining and reduces the likelihood of returning to a life of crime.   “Good jobs prevent recrimination.”
